Situated in the centre of Hoddesdon Town, easy to find, and with on-site parking facilities which is Pay and Display for non-Permit holders. Our function rooms offer excellent value-for-money both for Corporate and Private functions.

The Stanborough Suite, Tudor Bar (Front Bar), and Churchill Room (Boardroom) are all available for private hire. Hoddesdon and Broxbourne Conservative Club Members benefit from reduced rates.

Our prices and hire conditions are below. We prefer to meet you so if you are interested please contact our Secretary for a form and availability. A refundable 2-stage deposit is required to cover any damages.

Our resident Stewards can provide catering for most situations.  A cover charge is applied for bring in own food.

The Stanborough Suite
The Stanborough Suite

Depending on your needs, the main 126-square metre Function Room area can seat up to 80 people for a formal dinner or cabaret-style event, or up to 120 in theatre-style suitable for buffets, entertainment or lectures. The suite consists of raised staging, a sprung dance-floor and dedicated bar








The Tudor Room

Again, for smaller groups the more intimate surroundings of the Tudor Suite is recommended, with its own Bar and High Street entrance. The room can comfortably seat 20 people at a number of individual small tables.








The Churchill Room
The Churchill Room

For smaller groups the Churchill offers a Boardroom style table that can comfortably seat 18 people. This room is ideal for meetings or private dinners.

Our resident Chef can provide catering for most kinds of functions with dinner, lunch and buffet menu's tailored to suit your budget.  Buffet menu's include disposable tableware.

Hire Conditions

A full contract is available from our Secretary at the address below.  Some of the more important points that Hirers should know about are given below:

Deposits

  • There is a booking deposit of £100, not normally returnable.
  • A further deposit of £250 against damage is required at an agreed period before the event (£400 for 21st birthdays).
  • A further charge of £30 will be made should the premises not be vacated by midnight, which will be deducted from the deposit.
  • A further charge of £30 will be made to cover any exceptional cleaning by our staff after the function, which will be dected from the deposit.
  • The deposit (or balance if deductions are inurred) will be returned to the Hirer after the function.
  • Should deductions exceed the deposit the excess will be paid by the Hirer within 14 days.

 Other

  • The kitchen may only be used by arrangement with the Club.  A cover charge is payable when brining in own food.
  • The bar closes at 11:30pm.
  • Music/Disco must end by 11:30pm.  Note that the electrical supply for the stage is on a time switch 
  • The Stanborough Suite is to be vacated by 12:00 midnight in a quiet and considerate manner.
  • No-one under the age of 18 will be allowed in the bar area and, in particular, may not consume alcohol on the premises.
  • Only drinks purchased from the bar may be consumed on the premises.
  • The supply or use of illegal drugs will not be tolerated.
